# Collaboration on a Prompt

## Collaborating on Prompts

iBlueprint includes collaboration features that make it easier to work on prompts with a team. These tools provide version control, inline comments, AI‑powered suggestions and ways to test your prompt with various models.

### Revision History and Run History

* **Revision History** – Each time you save changes to a prompt, iBlueprint creates a snapshot. On the prompt details page, scroll down to the **Revision History** section and click **Toggle Revision History** to view previous versions. You can inspect old revisions to see how the prompt evolved and, if necessary, restore or copy previous content.
* **Run History** – The **Run History** section lists past executions of the prompt. This log helps you track how the prompt performed with different variable values and ensures reproducibility when collaborating.

### Annotations and Comments

* **Adding annotations** – To leave feedback on specific wording, highlight text within the **Prompt Content** area. A pop‑up appears where you can enter a comment and optionally suggest replacement text. An annotation does not change the underlying prompt; it simply attaches a note for collaborators to review.
* **Managing annotations** – Use the **Annotations On/Hide Annotations** toggle above the editor to show or hide annotation markers.
  The right‑hand **Annotations** sidebar lists all pending comments so you can review and resolve them during peer review.

### AI‑Assisted Annotations

* **AI annotation suggestions** – Click the **AI Annotation Suggestions** button in the sidebar to ask the system for potential improvements. iBlueprint will analyse the prompt and may offer suggestions for clearer wording or structure. These AI‑generated annotations complement human feedback and help refine the prompt collaboratively.

### AI Collaboration and Chat

**Open in AI** – To test your prompt with different language models, choose **Open in AI** and select a provider such as ChatGPT, Claude, Google Gemini, Perplexity or Microsoft Copilot. This opens the prompt in the chosen model’s interface, allowing you and your collaborators to see how each AI interprets the instructions.

* **Run this Prompt** – Use this option to execute the prompt with live variable inputs and examine the output. Run history helps you compare results across different settings.
* **Chat with Prompt** – This feature opens a chat interface where you can converse with the AI using your prompt as the system prompt. It’s helpful for brainstorming revisions or verifying that the AI follows your instructions.

These collaboration tools enable teams to iterate on prompts efficiently, maintain a clear record of changes and leverage AI to enhance clarity and effectiveness. By combining version history, annotations and AI‑assisted edits, iBlueprint ensures that prompt development is a transparent, collaborative process.
